I joined The Stamps Of Life monthly stamp club and while I was in their booth, I bought a few stamps to get me started! This card is a knock off of one of their samples for the stamp set they call "Swirls 4 Words." I love the whimsical swirly stamps and I'm sure you will see more creations made from this stamp in the future!
- The card base is white and the size is an A2 card (4 1/4 inches X 5 1/2 inches, folded).
- Cut a pink cardstock piece, 4 inches X 5 1/4 inches.
- Cut a white cardstock piece, 3 3/4 inches X 5 inches.
- Stamp the single swirl stamp all over the white cardstock. I use a purple stamp ink for this card.
- Stamp the single solid flower in the center of the swirls. I used pink that matched the pink cardstock.
- I used my Silhouette machine to cut the scalloped oval from pink cardstock and white cardstock. The size of the pink oval is approximately 2 X 3 inches. The size of the white oval is 1 1/2 X 2 inches. Layer the two pieces together and stamp the sentiment in the center of the white oval. I chose to use "My Friend" on this card. Other sentiments included in this stamp set are: Happy Birthday, Hello, Thanks, and Smile.
- Adhere the white stamped piece to the pink piece. Wrap a piece of sheer hot pink ribbon around these two pieces and tape securely on the back. Glue down the pieces to the card base.
- Place 1/16 inch thick pop dots on the oval and place over the top of the ribbon slightly off center.
Happy Scraplifting!
