Have A Peep-Tastic Day!

This card design is in celebration of the upcoming Easter holiday!  I scraplifted this design from another one of my card swap buddies, Carol Kirkham!  The dimensions of this card is 6 X 6 inches.  Here's how you create this design:
  1. Cut a 12 X 12 inch sheet of white cardstock in half.  Take one piece and fold in half to create your card base.
  2. Cut three pieces of white cardstock in these dimensions:  5 1/2 X 5 1/2 inches; 4 X 4 inches; 2 1/2 X 2 1/2 inches.
  3. Cut three pieces of a colored cardstock (I used orange in this design):  5 3/4 X 5 3/4 inches; 4 1/4 X 4 1/4 inches; 2 3/4 X 2 3/4 inches.
  4. Stack the three pieces of white cardstock together using a tiny bit of adhesive between the layers so that they do not slide around.  Make sure the squares are centered.
  5. Using one of your favorite flower stamps and an ink that matches your color cardstock (I used orange ink!), stamp your design on the layered white cardstock. Allow to dry before taking the white layers apart.
  6. Assemble your white stamped pieces onto the colored cardstock pieces so that there is a 1/8 inch border of color around each white piece.
  7. Stack the three assembled squares on top of each other, graduating from the largest one to the smallest.
  8. Stamp your sentiment on white cardstock and layer it on a piece of colored cardstock.  I cut a V in each end of the orange banner to give it a little different shape.  Add any other embllishments you would like!  I used this bunny with a piece of orange and white twine.
The stamp set I used for the flowers, sentiment and rabbit are from Avacado Arts.  The set is called Spring Medley.  Check out the website at:  www.avacadoarts.com

Thank you Carol Kirkham for this inspiration!
