We're Here For Support!

I ordered some new stamps and got them in this week!  Today's project features one of the stamps in the set from "Inkadinkadoo".  The stamp set has 9 different sentiments which are phrases of encouragement such as:
  • Hang In There!  Don't get discouraged
  • I need you to stay sane...
  • You're the only normal friend I've got!
  • Keep your chin up
  • Things will get better as soon as you scream!
  • and more!
The paper line I used for this card is from Simple Stories Sn@p! Color Vibe and Sn@p! Life solids.  I purchased them online on clearance from http://store.scrapbook.com/   There was a 12 X 12 inch sheet of 6-4 X 6 cards with a polka dot trim, a folder tab, and blue and white grid in the center of each card in the Sn@p! Color Vibe paper pack.  That piece of paper is the base for the card.

Instructions:

  1. Cut the cards apart to use for the front of the card.
  2. Use an exacto knife to trim around the folder tab and use a paper trimmer to cut a straight line the same width on the other side of the card in line with the folder tab.
  3. Cut a 1 3/4 inch X 5 inch strip from a coordinating solid paper and placed it through the slits and taped it down on the back.
  4. Use a coordinating ink to stamp the sentiment, "We're Here For Support!" on the strip of paper.
  5. Secure to the base card and you are done!

I love the bikini on this stamp!  It is so cute and a fun one to send to friends who are having a bad day!

There are quite a few lines who are printing double sided paper with sentiments, cards like these, bingo cards, and more.  Look for these in your scrapbook store to simplify your card making projects!  I've provided an example from this paper line for you below.  (I forgot to take a picture of the full sheet I used for this project before I cut it up!)
