I enjoy attending scrapbook conventions to learn about new products, take classes and just spend time with friends! In September 2012 I attended CKC in San Marcos and learned about a nw line of stamps called Avacado Arts. These stamp sets are versatile and allow for lots of different projects! The stamps can be turned over and used as a solid stamp then placed the correct way and stamped again to fill in the details! Very cool feature for these cling mount stamps. Another great feature to the Avacado Arts products is that they also have digital die cuts of their stamp sets that can be purchased and downloaded to used with digital cutting systems. I bought myself a Christmas present of a Silhouette Cameo machine and it interfaces with mycomputer. More on that piece of equipment in another post! Below are two cards I created using stamps these stamps!
The card to the right "Congrats on your new little chick!" used the Special Delivery stamp and digital die cut set. This adult chick and child chick make a great pair for this card for a new baby! This one uses a floral pink and green paper, a striped pink, yellow, green and tan stripe paper, forest green solid cardstock, and a brown pape card and envelope. A coordinating tan and cream stripe paper was used for the moma chick and a solid hot pink cardstock for the baby chick. I printed the sentiment on the computer. Very simple card to put together.
Here's the link to the Avacado Arts website! I am a member of the Stamp of the Month Club -- Option A. You can buy or skip each month! No requirement to get something you don't like or need! http://www.avocadoarts.com/index.html
