Club Scrap One Sheet Wonder

Last weekend I watched a video presented by Club Scrap at the One Of A kind Virtual Card Event on Facebook. I love this OSW and how there is no limit to the number of designs. Once you get the basics down, you can experiment with dies and layout! The OSW template and two different sets of 6 cards are pictured below!

Birds and Flowers

I love this Stampin’ Up designer series paper! These four cards are bright and cheery!

6x6” One Sheet Wonder

I love scraplifting from card designers who creat OSW—One Sheet Wonders! Today I created two sets of cards from using a 6x6” OSW. The cutting template is included. The last card pictured was an extra from scraps left.

Critter Cards

Tried out a new stamp set from Stampin’ Up called Back On Your Feet. The sentiments are get well related phrases!   I used alcohol markers to color them. They turned out really cute!

One Sheet Wonder Designs with Real Red Cardstock

Happy Saturday!  It's a crafting kind of day in Stillwater, OK!  Today I adapted a one sheet wonder template and redrew it using the cuts I used.  This template is for a 8.5 X 11 inch cardstock and I used about 3/4 of a sheet of double sided designer series paper from the Poppy Parade Line from Stampin' Up. The cardstock color I chose is Real Red.  I also used some these cardstock colors:  Pool Party,  Old Olive and Mossy Meadow.  I had to design the cards as I went and ended up with 9 cards.  Each picture is numbered so you can match up with the template.

Please note that on the template graphic below that it looks like the top row of 1 1/4 inch squares are not that size -- my grid paper was short one row!  So just know that when you cut your paper, there will be enough for 1 1/4 inch squares!

Here's the template and cards I designed!  Hope you enjoy.

Play on Circles

It's been quite a while!  Very busy summer here!  Hope everyone is having a good one and enjoying this cooler weather here in Oklahoma for a few days!

I had a couple of pieces of paper and sheets of velvet paper that I wanted to use for a card so here's what I came up with.

Here's the pieces you will need to cut to make 2 cards.  The picture below are the supplies for one card.

  • Cut 3 1/2 inch circles out of the yellow velvet paper and the striped paper.
  • Cut a 3/4 X 12 inch strip of the red velvet paper.  Then cut into 2 strips that are 3/4 X 5 1/4 inches.
  • Score and cut a sheet of 8 1/2 X 11 inch solid blue card stock in half.  I cut this one long way with the scored line at 5 1/2 inches.
  • Cut 4 pieces of white card stock 4 X 5 1/4 inches.
  • Next, cut the striped circle in half (1 3/4 inches) and then each piece in half again to make 4 pie pieces.  Do the same with the yellow circle.
  •  Place the 3 piece pieces on one piece of the white card stock with a small gap between the left yellow piece and the blue piece.
  • Place the red strip in the center of the card over the pie pieces to form the center stripe.
  • Stamp a sentiment in the empty pie piece spot to complete the front.  Glue the front piece onto the blue card base.
  • Stamp a sentiment on the other piece of white card stock and place on the inside of the card.
  • That's it!
This is a great way to use up some scraps to make a few cards and was pretty quick and easy to do!

I also added another picture for you of another design using the circle!  Check it out below!
